established at Tokyo ( Innova Vision International Inc. ).
Started to market soft contact lenses in Japan. |

The new plant in HsinChu City, Taiwan was
completed . The plant area of 4,000 square meters, with an
annual production rate of up to thirty million lenses. In
January, the ISO 9002 was upgraded to the ISO 9001-94 edition.
In May, the company was certified with the Taiwan GMP ( GOOD
MANUFACTURING PRACTICES ). In July, the subsidiary in Japan
obtained the 2nd license. |
